Keyboard controls stop working at random
I've noticed that, after just an hour or so in-game, key functionality just stops. Pressing 'F' whilst in battle-mode to start the sonar doesn't work, 'V' to bring up the mission select only just stopped after rescuing a fireman.

Restarting the game brought back the mission select, but the sonar functionality is battle mode is not available. Is it just the case that I've finished the game and using the spare Batmobile? Because I'm fairly sure all the upgrades were to be included. This means puzzles requiring the sonar are unsolvable.

However, selecting weapons and gadgets using the top row number keys tends not to work either. Using the mousewheel works, but it's more a case of hoping that's selected what I wanted each time (I've seen old Batsie grapple and do a takedown when I just selected the disruptor and tried to use it, there weren't any takedown prompts on display at the time).

I'd like to say it was a low frame rate issue, but it happens at any all times regardless if I'm above, at, or below 30 (yech!) fps. Perhaps this is an anti-piracy method misfiring? At this point, I'm not ruling anything out.

The big question though, is how many are also suffering with this bug?

I've got keyboard functionality for everything so far except Batman himself. Haven't tried story mode yet. Just got game this December, looking for solution.

I had a very unusual issue awhile ago that was somewhat similar to what you two are describing.
For whatever reason, certain keys/buttons just would not work at all. Mouse camera control would not work, niether would strike, couldn't use gadgets, etc.

After weeks of fruitlessly troubleshooting i eventually stumbled upon the cause which turned out to be the -nologo switch.

I have NO idea why that was causing the problem, but I verified by simply removing and adding it back in a few times.

IF you have any command line switchees set, try removing them.
You may also want to try removing the bminput file and then doing a cache integrity check to reaquire the file.

@captainobvious were you able to get your control issue sorted out?
I've put in a few hours over the last week but when I went to play the game today everything would work except for walking around.
