Stuck on the Cloudburst Boss Fight due to the tank being inside the GCPD basement

I'm currently doing the main story line, but during the battle with the Cloudburst tank, I managed to die a few moments after I disabled the main gun. I respawned right after disabling it, but the Cloudburst Tank spawned inside the GCPD basement. I can't get in, the tank can't get out. Restarting through the menu does not fix it. Restarting the game itself entirely does not fix it. I've finished almost 50% of the game at this point, I do not want to have to start all over again.

Is there a way for me to fix this?

Hedrox, I had to restore to an older save to fix this. Please be warned that if you don't have a controller available, restoring an older save might be non-trivial. I had problems restoring the save on my keyboard and had to use a controller myself, even though I played 99% of the game just fine with my keyboard.

I also have tried doing this with keyboard. No luck. I will borrow gamepad from friend on Monday and try this again. Hope this work, since I messed up a little with save files...

You might have to restore not the most recent, but the second most recent save, for which you need to hold it pressed even longer. In extreme cases, you might have to start fiddling around with the backup saves in your My Games folder under My Documents.

How to restart the mission? I didn't try it. It sounds like good idea, but I cannot find any other option than "reload last checkpoint" or I missed something?
