Riddles without sonar

So... after playing through the main story i started solving the riddles... If i'm not mistaken, I need the sonar in the batmobile for some of them, and i don't have the sonar anymore as far as i know. Is there anyway to get the sonar back, or are some riddles only able to be solved in the period of the main story where you have the sonar?

you don't need the sonar for any riddle. I think what you mean is the forensics scanner, and that is actived with x by default

no you don't need that. that was for the Ivy missions to find the roots for the trees.
if you want to activate riddler's panels like the one here: http://i.imgur.com/QeCSmoR.jpg
simply enter battle mode while in the batmobile and activate the forensic scanner/detective cscanner and you will see riddler's question marks appear on the ground. follow them to the end untill you see a circle drawn on the wall, blast it with the batmobile rockets and there should be a riddle trophy behind it.

Yes he does, but the walls have to be blow with the 60mm cannon.
