Ambient Occlusion still says "not supported by this application"

I got the patch and the rain effects are there! but in the nvidia control panel it still says "not supported by this application" next to Ambient Occlusion in the 3D application settings for AK. anybody know what the deal is? cause I thought that the patch fixed that. Do I need to re-install? or is nvidia control panel just stupid? Please and thank you.

You need a Titan card (doesn't matter which) at the least, otherwise it won't work.

You dont need a titan card. AO was enabled by the last patch(works just fine on my 980gtx). It should show automatically in the game(might not show on lower settings i dont know). Just check the edges around objects - if there is a darkeness to them - then its enabled. Also, the nv panel AO toggle only works for certain games)
