Which Scarecrow do you prefer? Asylum or Knight?
+1 asylum for me.

AK scarecrow is too different from its predecessors (cartoons & asylum) . His personality and voice seems to have changed to hugo strange or ras al ghul etc. His dialogues are too pretentious and condescending for me lol. don't hate this version, just prefer the old ones.

this one.

Far more messed up.

Asylum and City were more closer to comic looks. Arkam Knight took a little bit of a realism turn (hence why most characters look different than before [Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Riddler, Gordon, Scarecrow) and so on.

I like both to be honest. Both fit perfectly in their own games.

i have to disagree thou. I thought the rest stays true to their old personality, Their dialogues and persona were the same. Ivy does look & sound more human but she acts and speak like what she would in the predecessors.

John Noble made this Scarecrow. He was awesome.

AK's Scarecrow is definitely different from Asylum's. AA's was more of a crazy loon running around screwing with people. AK's is much more methodical, dark and controlled. AA's is closer to the overall feel of the character, but AK's is certainly a welcome twist. The villains are a lot like Batman himself in that there'll always be several variations to fit the story being told.

i guess being used to the usual version of Scarecrow makes me feel that this Scarecrow is too pretentious and tryhard lol. I just want to slap his face whenever he does this supposedly "scary villain speech"

Asylum by a mile. In Knight the Scarecrow was barely there. Taunting from TVs and you'd only face him in cutscenes. Manacing? Maybe. Scary? Not by a long shot. Asylum captured the feel of Scarecrow. He messes with people's minds. The Scarecrow levels in Asylum were top knotch. The whole restart game bit was genius!

Well, this Scarecrow was all about the transition from the Arkham Asylum which you couldn't consider a real threat. Scarecrow is severely disfigured thanks to the events of Arkham Asylum. It caused him to become bitter and mad with a huge lust for revenge. Took it personally on every possible level, so of course - seeing how Batman is his primary fix - he doesn't play around this time. I love what they did with his character and it fits Arkham Knight. It wouldn't fit in Arkham Asylum.

Arkham knight by a mile away. Asylum's voice actor, although good, just didn't intimidate me, and oh boy did John noble nail it, this Scarecrow is the best i've ever heard in my opinion

This. So much this. I felt like Hugo Strange put a sack over his head when I first heard him.

You know what REALLY is a fun fact? I have heard reports from developers that after that game crash stunt from Asylum, people started returning their copies. Oh, the irony...
