Can't beat this militia compound
Does anyone know how to beat this place? I've tried disabling the turrets, I've tried sneaking in and doing silent takedowns. But no matter what I always get spotted and either killed before I escape, or the enemies remain on high alert until I fly away and come back - by which point all the ones I knocked out are conscious again. I also can't find any way for the batmobile to get high enough to shoot the turrets:

Batmobile is your friend for like 95% of the game. you see that broken bridge on the other side of the map?

Go over there pull it down then jump over and squash em under your tires, don't worry they're just "unconscious" .

You are Batman. Just do it.

I think there is a bridge near there so just put the batmobile there and shoot the turrets.

The only bridge is the one to the northwest and it's at the same height as the compound, so I can't shoot over the walls.

There's an upgrade for the jammer gun that makes sabotaged turrets explode and take out nearby goons when they try to shoot you, that's what I used for most of the checkpoints

You need to disable both turrets with the disruptor, and then use a fear takedown. If you have x5 fear takedown it will be much easier. When the turrets explode they also knock out some people too.

Just a question, do does distruptor needs an upgrade to be abble to make turret sabotage ?
I cant select turrets to desactivate them...

I managed to do it without using the Batmobile. I disrupted the turret nearest the road and then hid behind the little wall and goaded people into coming down - lots of Batclaw to get the rifles off them. Thing is when I did it that way I couldn't pick up the security console from the commander. Dunno if the game just decided I hadn't done it properly or what.

In the end I jumped the Batmobile in there and just electrocuted everyone.

For anyone still stuck, not sure if everyone here is trolling or talking about another compound.

But if you're at the one at 2264 x 1852 (look in the lower right hand of the map for the coordinates) then one of the entry ways has a hook for the batmobile's winch to connect to. You can then pull down the metal doorway and drive right in and kill them.

Anyone who manages to stealth this compounds w/o batmobile is a God and a nut case. It's crazy.

They're discussing a post-Arkham Knight HQ compound on Bleake Island, the one clearly visible in the OP's 2 screenshots and marked on his map at 2161 x 2148. Why would you think anyone was trolling? All you had to do was look at the pictures.

I think he suggested people were trolling because, aside from the first respondent (whom the OP didn't seem to actually listen to), nobody mentioned that the "intended" way to handle that checkpoint is to yank down the bridge on the other island and use it as a ramp to jump into the compound. Like, I read through the thread and thought, "Man, why is nobody else mentioning or acknowledging the intended method?"

That wasn't trolling, though. It was just people being ignorant. Partially because this thread is from shortly after the game was released four years ago.

Good point, and we need to stop falling for topic necros. Depending on what mind-set I'm playing (mercy, brawler, deadly force) I'll either 1. yank down the ramp gate on Founders and jump the car into Bleake, 2. use the Disruptor on the turrets before launching a Tightrope between the two cranes to perform a Fear Takedown, 3. Disrupt all Militia weapons and turrets and go for either an old fashioned brawl, sighted overload takedowns or REC panic takedowns; device recharge using the #3 method on multiple targets is time-consuming but the results are comically worth it.

@Gunvalkyrie, there is a way to defeat the militia compound you referred to without using the Batmobile. I take it down early after getting the RHD upgrades and before entering Founders with the car because I want that area clear for evasive maneuvers against the Cobra tanks. I'll blind the turrets with the RHD, then deploy the Smoke Pellets on isolated soldiers for either Quick Takedowns or Fear Takedowns. Not stealthy but effective.

I'll sometimes use the Disruptor to sabotage all militia weapons at that location for either sighted overload takedowns (clumsy) or REC panic takedowns (stealthy if performed unseen); both methods are extremely time-consuming but rewarding. Since the car is overused and sometimes feels like cheating I like to look for strategic alternatives, depending on my play style or mood.

On my first playthrough, for whatever reason, it didn't occur to me to use the Batmobile for those checkpoints. I used disruptor/smoke pellets/fear takedowns for all of them. Then I felt kinda silly on my next playthrough when I realized, "Oh, yeah, I have a tank..."
