NO he is not beat Batman i already end the game and it was so much fun 30+ hours of gameplay. Just amazing how much efforts they were put in story and side missions... however for the ultimate ending - to beat Enigma i will wait update because i literally took so much time with these lags to play it thru story but i can't give any more hours to fight with that lag is annoying. Hope future patch or fixed game is goin to be on line to release soon enough.
i would say yes, he wanted to kill the myth of the batman, and he did just that
Thats the meta story of the game in my opinion. Batman was always mean towards his friends he actually needed and loved, because he was scared getting them killed because of him.
In fact Scarecrow "killed" Batman at the end because now all friends of Bruce Wayne are in Danger and he has to suicide (or vanish) to save them.
So Yes. Scarecrow won against Batman/Bruce, but lost the Battle of Gotham
Cause he was poisened with jokers blood. But he got cured at the end because he confronted (with help of the fear toxin from scarecrow) the Joker within .
