Xbox 360 Controller Not Working!!!

Why is it showing in controllers under options the PS4 joystick and not my wireless Xbox 360 controller. I can't go through the main menus nor choose my Xbox 360 controller, I never had this problem with the other Batman games, What is going on WB???

WB, we need a patch pronto for this fix. It's useless playing this game on a PC with the keyboard and mouse. There are to many controls for Batman and I'm not an Octopus.

I had the same problem. Try going into device manager, and see if there's another gamepad installed aside from the default x360 controller. In my case, it was registering a default gamepad from when I had previously paired a PS4 controller. As soon as I removed that device, the x360 controller worked perfectly.

Thanks brutha, I checked it and under device manager it say's "Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver For Windows".

Tried running the game with the keyboard and mouse and during the diner sequence with the police officer getting up to walk over to the guy who is smoking in the corner of the restaurant the screen starts spinning in circles. It says to move the left joystick in the center of the screen but of course I can't use the Xbox 360 controller to play the game and trying to move with the keyboard and mouse I keep running into the walls because of the screen spinning in circles like crazy. I think I'll play my Elite Dangerous and Witcher 3 games until they get Batman fixed at least those games works perfectly.

I have that issue every single time I launch the game. If you alt-tab out to your desktop and back a few times the game will work with the 360 controller.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. Also when I exit the game every time a small window pops up and says Batman Arkham Knight has stopped working with a Problem Event Name: APPCRASH. What a pain when you pay $60 for a game and you can't even play it, I didn't have to pay for it because I got it for free with my msi GTX970 video card but still I feel for the people who paid the $59.99 + Tax and are having all these problems.

Alt-Tab does not work, game just keeps spinning around in circles.

Im having the same problem, in the game pad options it only shows the ps4 controller, im using a xeox gam pad and running it with the xbox controller emulator, i cant play with the ketboard :/

Fixed the problem!!!, Had my logitech extreme 3d pro plugged in and removed it and also downloaded and installed the latest xbox 360 64bit windows 7 driver and the game runs fine now at a steady 60+ fps. Although turning on all the nvidia gameworks graphics settings turns off DX11 and turns on DX10, not sure why it does this but I think it'll be fixed with a newer patch.

I had exactly the same situation. Although the PS4 pad was not on it still showed as device. Removed it and the 360 controller appeared in game.

guys, i dont even own a ps4 controller but the game keeps thinking i have one conected, i only have the xeox gamepad and it runs fine in my other batman games, does anybody know whats going on?

Make sure to unplug any other usb joysticks or hardware you might think may be interfering with the game and also download the latest xbox 360 32bit or 64bit driver from microsoft, that's what I did and the game runs gr8 now.

i have problems if i plug in controller after the game has started and won't reckonise it has been plugged in, its alright if i plug in before i start, i am using the PS4 controller via usb.

Did you guys try my solution?, because it worked for me. Also I forgot to mention I have the wireless XBox 360 controller and I'm running Windows 7 64bit.
