Yes, and the fix I suggested will work.

Good call. I have been on nvidias uk forums a lot of chat about their latest driver being a step backwards and degrading system stability with nvidia 900 range worth a look. I havn`t purchased the game yet checking feed back first.

It should work as that error is a conflict between 32bit and 64

thanks to you buddy! WylieC0y0te
and of course the mixing of the 32bit and 64bit is caused by bad install of visual c++. Don't download these zipped fixes other people post on the net and use the microsoft.

Uninstall completely and reinstall these:

So I uninstalled microsoft .net framework 4.5.1 rc, microsoft visual c++ 2010 and 2012 32bit and 64bit

reinstalled from the one steam provided in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Batman Arkham Knight\_CommonRedist

tried the above method. Removed visual c++ x86 and x64 previous versions and reinstalled from the ones provied in steam. Same for .Net framework 4.5.1
I still have the same error.
Any more ideas?

Ok...so after comparing my other steam games with this one, i find one stark difference. All the dll files in the binary folder have an extension x64.dll while previous games like Arkham origins had similar files with extension x32.dll. Could this be the problem? If yes, what then?

I'm getting the same issue. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game. uninstalled and reinstalled directx and .NET and the vcredist 2010 and 2012. Still 0xc000007b I get the 32bit/64 bit issue, I just don't know how to remedy this. Is the game running in 32 bit? (even though its in the win64 folder) or is my system in 32 bit somewhere and it isn't jiving with the .exe?
