How can I use the special combo batarang?

The key for this combo is unassigned and I can't find a way to assign the key in the option.

who gives a crap about all of this new introduced moves, the old ones are the basics.

It says to hold down the batarang button (Q in my case) but whenever I do that batman just throws regular batarangs. (I have the 5x combo upgrade).

I remember in Arkham City you have to be in Freeflow but I haven't seen that happen yet.

There is an upgrade called Freeflow MKII but I haven't taken it yet.

I've tried using my xbox controller and it works fine then. Just holding down the quickfire button I guess :S. But on keyboard there is no way to get it to work.

I assume the binding just goes off of whatever your batarang button is. It works for me by holding down the batarang button (1 by default) when the combo counter is yellow, there is a bit of a delay, you have to hold it for about 1-2 seconds before it goes off.

Thanks, I can use the combo after assigning a button to quickfire batarang. :)
They didn't tell us it is related to the quickfire button and it was not assigned on default.

Controls on PC are a real mess in Arkham Knight.... Special combo takedown is Alt+1, 2, 3... Come on? How can I do that? Break my fingers?
