20 hours to install off Disc?!?
24 hours to 8 hours to 25 hours to 5 hours WTF is going on?!?
They doing this on purpose to make the TV tuners look good but any person with a brain and a PC know that not true.

Update: 5 DVD's only brought me to 20% WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No it's all over the place yes i haven't got too many recent PC games on Disc at release but max payne 3 worked just fine. (was also 5 DVD's full game install)
Each disc installls like 700 megabytes instead of 7 gigs and the progress bar doesn't go up.

i am being told the discs for this won't even install it all.

Be thankful there is an actual physical copy to use rather than a download that resets itself after 21gigs.

I got mine for £21 off GMG after amazon stopped taking preorders due to WB stopping teh disc version. Seems like WB were playing silly beggars again just as they did with dying light except that was delayed by a month and resulted in a lot of flak aimed at the techland dev team.

That's what i'm saying i wil have to download the rest and if it cuts out do i have to reinstall the disc portions to if the progress resets?!?

Max Payne 3 installed the whole thing off disc i'm on disc 4/5
and i'm only at 3 gigs out of 30.

Update: progress bar went up 2 bars finally not enough tho....

Once the code's been added to steam you can use the discs however you want.

No, there is a fix im told that install everything from the disks, you have to check these forums for link,

Amazon still not delivered my retail copy, kinda thinking get a digital copy as i can get it cheaper. What i want to know is will it force me to do a big ass update once i install from the cds?

Disc 5 started not even at 6 gigs installed yet, unless this last disc is a blu ray i'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥ like all you guys that have to download it.
Atleast you guys got it half off i payed full and still have to deal with this at a later time not lucky at all.

So looks like that 18 hours it was giving me was accurate includes the time you need to download the rest of the game WOW last New Gen game i get at launch and they wonder why poeple wait for sales and fixes.
This was the only new gen game i was looking forward to HYPE Derailed.

Discs used to have the full game, thanks to the platforms (drms) like of steam they often now require a day 1 patch to work or unlock the content.

Sadly the day 1 patches have been getting larger thanks to publishers pushing the content to print far too soon before the content is actually release ready.

Does the discs even go anything? I have 5 discs, and after starting the installation, it launched up steam and started downloading on here. Needs to install 35 GB..

It hasn't prompted to insert any of the other Discs, so I have no idea going on with this thing. Is it the same for you or?

Ok so my 5 discs are NTSC (north american) Retail each disc installled on average about 700 Mb but i did get promts to put in all 5 discs.....
AFTER i entered the code stopped the digital download deleted local content and started the installation again off the disc instead this time.
(if you try to install off the discs when you already start the steam download it will say uninstall reinstall only otherwise i assume it the same with other regions but i guess assuming anything in this day and age is pointless ♥♥♥♥ don't make sense)

Only game I ever remember having a full download despite having the disc was dark messiah.

Since then apart from the day 1 patch aspect I've generally not had an issue with disc editions and while the size of games continues to get larger I'll keep looking for that option. Often they end up being a similar price to places like GMG or cheaper.

I see, I would try that, but I dont wanna lose the progress that has already been made just in case it doesn't work. After putting in a single disc, and clicking install, it just launched up steam, told me to put the code in and started downloading here. Nothing about discs lol

Ok ya i tried the code first then i was like WTF? it not asking for disks!?!
So i just cancelled it since it was still at 0% i didn't lose any progress by doing this why i tried it.

i'm just hoping since i could run Dead Rising 3 well i can run this but even if i can still no excuse for these lazy devs focusing on inferior TV tuners instead of BEAST PC's.
♥♥♥♥ your new age PC wannabe tv tuners that can't even play music cd's.....
ya real all in 1 device retarrds there already an all in one device CALLED PC.
