Otherwise, I had no problems I can recall except for one or two minor glitches that I'm fuzzy on the details on at this point.
I have seen a lot of hyperbole about the amount of time one spends in the Batmobile and to be honest, while there are quite a few parts where you use it, you are going to spend A LOT more time outside of it. Taking the game as a whole, I don't feel it was so excessively used that it outright detracted from the experience. It perhaps helps that the Batmobile is genuinely pretty fun to drive around and is a pretty essential component in the overall Batman experience.
There are two specific situations where I think things got a bit excessive. The first is that some of the Riddler parts of the game lean pretty heavily on the Batmobile and it can get a bit "gamey" for lack of a better term. Likewise. There is a part where you fight villain in the Batmobile that really should have been an on-foot battle.
The whole Batmobile topic is a big example of why you gotta be careful about how much stock you put into user-reviews and popular gaming controversies. People have WILDLY overstated the issue and probably because it is popular and emotionally cathartic to do so.
I just got done putting a few hours into it and saw no framerate drops at all. There might be something else going on in your case.
Well, for the most part, the game should run fine as long as one meets the system requirements. Every game (regardless of platform) will have bugs but on PC, sometimes bugs pop up due to an individuals system or configuration (software or hardware) of said system.
Overall. If your system falls inside the requirements listed for a game, you should be fine. Just keep in mind that laptops will be noticeably weaker than similarly spec'ed laptop parts tend to be weaker and thermal considerations become a much, much bigger deal. This is why many advise against relying on a laptop for heavier PC gaming.
I have been replaying it and to be honest, I think that it feels like there are more Batmobile sections than there actually are because some of those portions really stick out as somewhat annoying or perhaps poorly designed. It also perhaps doesn't help that the main story has quite a few missions that involve a mix of Batmobile and on-foot portions.
When you look at the game as a whole (main and side-quest content), the Batmobile doesn't feel terribly excessive. Some of the parts where you use it are not great but I have played through this game a few times and I always spend a lot more time on foot than I do in the car.
