This is exactly the same as mine. Huge dip when the first guard walks through that dynamic smoke.
So yes, I can confirm this is how the game REALLY plays now. It's good, it's playable and enjoyable, but no.. NOT perfect like so many ignorant individuals would like to claim. Just because your game can hit 60fps, doesn't mean it's at a constant 60fps. I find it hard to believe a 970 is pulling off 80fps consistently at 4k maxed out lol
I have my games installed on a mechanical. Only a moron would install all their games on an SSD. I only install games like GTAV on my SSD because I play that the most.
SSD has my Windows 10 installed on it and GTAV. That's it. Everything else I save to my other 2 terabytes of HDD
Yeah. Okay coming back to this thread I can confirm this during the benchmark. I get average of 96fps but minimum is like 55 when that guard goes through the smoke.
During gameplay though it is alot smoother on my 980ti with gameworks stuff.
Game still needs some refinement it seems.
Fix your ♥♥♥♥ Rocksteady
I wouldn't expect Rocksteady to do much more. Just get used to these fps drops. It's still smoother than AC: Unity so that's fine for me. Sucks but oh well. Maybe 5 years from now our computers will be so strong that this game will run flawlessly.
minimum 33 although the 33 is only due to some big stutter when the test first starts and lowest it went was 50
maximum 122
average 76
Yeah don't listen to the ingame benchmark minimum. I noticed the minimum records the transition between scenes in not just this game, but all the other batman games, and it doesn't give you a fair minimum value for actual gameplay.
But yeah, average 76 sounds about normal. I get around that as well. Though the lowest mine goes is around 44fps ingame.
Do you know if games run better on non-OS SSD's?
I5-2500k 4ghz
16gb ram
1tb Samsung Evo ssd
1080p, Win 7
Maxed setting. Blur, film grain and Abberation off.
Fighting on foot is fine, constant 60fps. Gliding drops to 45 and hovers there until I get closer to the street and driving drops to 45 and will be pretty constant there unless I stop. Tank mode was fluctuating from 45-55.
Some hitching with Batmobile, a lot better though.
Highest cpu usage was at 90% and the gpu was only at 67%.
Sounds pretty normal. I've noticed when doing the "Augmented Reality" type training modes, the framerates are much better, even when in the batmobile tank mode. But in the open world, framerates fluctuate. It must have to do with loading assets.
glad to see it performing better, i had to turn grain off though i just did not like it and the AA is nasty in my oppinion. :(
GTX 980 ti
i7 4770k
16gb ram
All SSD storage
1440p 144Hz G-Sync Monitor
The problem with dropping frames suddenly like that is it causes micro-stutters.
It does seem that perhaps somehow the engine isn't designed to run beyond 30fps, and it notices very much when driving around the assets quickly.
