Been doing some research anyway.. and still really your PC guide "Yorick" who updates about the PC
He still has nothing to update you all sadly... i know it's been 3 months without any DLC and that really but to be honest guys... with all of you saying free season pass and that, it really does sound like you're all GIVING UP, like i did mention in my other posts, this game possibley will not be FIXED for a long time...
They did this with Arkham Origins guys... they did give up updating Arkham origins and i have to say for all PC gamers i am afraid really that the arkham knight will cease updating after when these patches release as well
I do fear this game will be left abandan guys.. am probs talking complete Sh*t but... am just making a point.. :(
They probably won't, I got my Season Pass at release, I doubt they're going to refund me the full 40 euros onto Steam like I deserve if I've spent more than 2 hours in the game.
If they did, that would be amazing, but I can't.
Here, the only con is some parts of the PC gaming community disapproving and I bet you even if they don't hand out season passes/refund season pass holders, they can still put out another AAA game and people will still buy it. Pretty impractical on their part.
Adding to the fact that we aren't really entitled to anything extra rather than a full working product, their only choice is to patch and create a proper PC port for this game with a minimal loss in profits or if they are a bad company, to completely ignore it and develop DLC.
Same. +1
As of right now I have already betean the game and just now waiting for DLC's. Yes I had to use some special tools and fixes to get the game to run but I have been able to finish it. It is now very playable for me and much better than at release. So for those that are having issues maybe you should try to find those special threads that help your game get much better performance.
I can now run the game at 1440p at 40fps minimum and goes as high as 50 fps. My specs
CPU: i7 2600 4.2GHz XMP OC
GPU: GTX 970 FTW
GPU2: GTX 670 FTW - Dedicated Physx Card
RAM: 8GB 2133MHz Corsair Platinum Dominators
HDD: 3TB Seagate Barricuda 7200RPM
OS: Windows 10 Pro
MOBO: Sabertooth z77
To point out those with memory issues you may not realize this but it might be your drivers. I had this memory leak and found out that one of my drivers was the root cause of it. In fact running this game at 1440p didn't use past 3.5GB VRAM. So yeah that is saying a lot since they did in fact fix something with memory management.
I found out after updating my Audio drivers for my Logitech G35 headset my memory no longer went through the roof in this game. So check all your drivers okay. I am not kidding you. Those with windows 10 be aware that memory leaks in games are usually caused by incompatible or old drivers that allow memory leaks in games and applications.
I am running textures on normal rather than high since I know 970 gpu's will have massive issue with that 4GB VRAM requirement. All gamework options turned off as well since they too take up a crud load of VRAM.
