Game still crashing on opening
Ok i've tried pretty much everything ive unuinstalled and reinstalled the game about 10 times, ive verified the files, changed the read only, run as admin, is there anything ive missed ? The game was working perfectly an hour before it downloaded the patch so i can only assume that its something the update has caused
edit : im on a laptop running windows 10 if that makes any difference

After the latest patch, I can´t play the game anymore. Everytime I start the game and I fly with Batman the game crashes. Before the patch it runs without bigger problems.
I tryed to uninstall the game and load the game again from the servers. Same problem again. :-(

I use also Windows 10 on my PC (Core i5 3570k@4,4GHz, 16GB RAM, Radeon R9 290, game on HDD)

You have to start the game on -windowed. Full screen makes it crash.

I will try it later and let you know if it works or not. I hope they will fix it soon.

i cant get on the game to run it in windowed it crashes on startup :(

-windowed works but you can't change the resolution anymore, so it just runs at max resolution, which of course is unplayable on my modest rig. Nearly beat the game and never had any issues at all until this new patch. Ugh.

Add -windowed to the Steam Launch command. You don't have to get in the game.
working perfect now thanks man :)

You can change the resolution by selecting "Windowed with no borders" in the game settings. But first you have to launch the game with the steam launch command -windowed, then you can go to the settings.

Appreciate the tip, but there's still no resolution setting available.

That sucks you cant play the game. I recently tried to get sweet effects to work for my game. When I added it the game crashed on start up so I removed all the files having to do with sweet effects from win64. Then I tired to run the game again and it crashed on start up so what worked for me was I deleted all of the files in win64 and then reverified the game. The game now works again. I am not sure if this will help you but I just thought I would share.

Thanks Shima, I tried that, but got the same result. Insane stuttering on the menu, can't change my resolution. Nearly beat the game and never had a complaint until this patch. Tried the BMT tool as well, and its still horrible, even using that to change the resolution.
Laptop, Windows 10, 8GB RAM, was playing at super low ♥♥♥♥♥♥ resolution before and had a blast with this game.
I'm gonna give up for now, until someone smarter than me is able to figure out what the devs decided to break or delete so that people who previously had no issues suddenly can't play anymore.
