Announcement on Refunds

We are very sorry that many our customers continue to be unhappy with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. We worked hard to get the game to live up to the standard you deserve, but understand that many of you are still experiencing issues.

Until the end of 2015, we will be offering a full refund on Batman: Arkham Knight PC, regardless of how long you have played the product. You can also return the Season Pass along with the main game (but not separately). For those of you that hold onto the game, we are going to continue to address the issues that we can fix and talk to you about the issues that we cannot fix.

Thank you,

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment

EDIT BY VALVE: For users who were having trouble submitting a refund for the game purchased on Steam, please try your refund submission again. The issue should have now been resolved.

That's all well and good for those who bought it through steam, but for us who didn't we have no choice but to hope that WB/RS get their ♥♥♥♥ together and deliver a working product.

"we are going to continue to address the issues that we can fix and talk to you about the issues that we cannot fix."

That doesn't bode well...

Well, it is signed "Warner Bros" so does that not mean WB will take back any copy of the game regardless of where we bought it? They published it in an unacceptable state. The sellers, whether Steam or resellers, sold them to their customers in the good faith that this was a AAA game that could be played. It is not their fault. It is WB. WB should refund any copy.

Why would they refuse to refund the Season Pass by itself?

I haven't been all that unhappy with the base game, except when WB says things are fixed while lying their liar asses off. I got my money's worth on it. $40 on a Season Pass that has one decent story-based piece of content and a bunch of stupid RACE TRACKS in a BATMAN game? No. Just, no. The only thing I've wanted a refund on this whole time was the Season Pass, and yet again they're denying refunds on it.

Because "I don't like it" isn't a valid reason for a refund.

This is pretty much confirmation that this is as good as the game is going to get fps wise.

Maybe, the only thing I'm waiting for really is for the rain effects to work properly. I can live with 30 fps while maxing the settings.

So, what can't be fixed that we should know about right now? Is it going to take another ~5 months and then we've missed the refund window?

This quite possibly is the most inexcusable situation I've experienced with a video game.

False advertising and a delay of 4 months should have been enough. Denial of the Early Access that was featured prominently on the Season Pass pre-order should have been enough.
The bait and switch tactics should have been enough.

Consider yourself lucky. I've dumbed down my settings and have it set to 30 fps max, and still can't run the game overly smooth. This is on a rig that's capable of running Witcher 3 on max settings.

In my case...the only real issue I'm still having is the rain effects, and some of the achievements not working. Yes, the game still needs some work, but it's not nearly as bad as it was on the original launch, not by a long shot. Yes, people with SLI/Crossfire are still having issues, but that should be fixed soon.

I do realize that my PC is probably in the top 5% though, so just because it's running fine for me doesn't mean it's running fine for everyone. i7-6700k, 980ti, 16gb of ddr4-3200 (with another 16gb to be added soon).
