I got free copies of all Arkham games

Let us take a moment to thank Rocksteady & Warner Bros. for giving away free digital copies of Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate to Steam users who bought the PC version of Arkham Knight before 11:59 p.m. PT on Nov. 16, 2015.

I get that but at the same time i did not own 3 of the games until yesterday but i did own them on ps3 way back so it ain't like i got compensated for never buying them and i'm sure i'm not the only one.

While it is ridiculous to claim pain and suffering, the people who already own the original arkham games have gone through the exact same thing with this game as those who didn't, but they don't get compensated.
That's just wrong.
You don't compensate people who never bought a game in your series before this one, and ignore your oldest paying customers. That's really bad business in my opinion

If you owned them all except for blackgate you would still get more than people who DID own them all and blackgate as well. Either way you cut it, that's not right
It's like those people who were demanding the season pass for free; what about those of us who paid for the season pass already?
They need to give out gift copies of the games, that way you get it regardless

To be fair: I suggested to give away the season pass for free AND to give owners of the season pass their money back. Imo it is just a big joke that WB decided to give away games which probably nearly everybody already has. You cannot tell me that they did not know this. They had so many opportunitys to really compensate players here but no, it's still all about the money. They had us waiting for months and game still does not run good (at least for me it's playable but others don't have that much luck) and all they give away to compensate for it are games most already have and if you own all you get nothing. But I have to say that WB does one thig exceptionally well: scaring customers away. First price awarded here!

I get what you mean about refunding people who bought the season pass, but it would be hard since not everyone bought it from steam and most people bought it with the deluxe edition of the game, so how would they work all that out? I just don't think it would be possible to do.
They should have just offered credit for a set amount on any WB game available on steam, that could be purchased the same as any other game, meaning you could buy them as gifts if there were no games you were interested in yourself.

Got the preorder of A.K., I bought all copies of previous batman before this type of "refund"... i'm a bit disappointed.. i hope in a different type of refund like a season pass for Batman Arkham Knight

Honestly, I'd have been OK with just getting something usable. Since I owned all of the games and all available DLC's I was given retailer specific preorder items for Arkham Origins that were never made available for separate purchase. Would be cool, except half of them were multiplayer DLC's and the MP is dead at this point.
