What is going on?
Instead, chase them down in pursuit mode and hit them with immobilizer missiles (initiate lock on with Left Ctrl and fire with Left Ctrl once locked on). Or you can just ram into them directly.
Yes, there's a boost. Use left click while in pursuit mode. It's unlocked at a certain point in the story, but I think you should be past that point.
Yeah, I realised I was trying to do the challenge without the afterburner yet, because I attempted it right as it was available.
Haven't done the challenge yet, I can see I can upgrade my afterburners and what not, so I guess I'll save it for later, it should be easier then
Anyway, AR Car Chases are still tough, and a lot of it is just luck. The immobilizer missile will do you in a pinch, but at two hits per car, it's time consuming. The best thing I found is just to drive around, and try to hit cars head-on. It's a lot faster than chasing after them, and the more cars you take out, the more of them spawn; and so you will find that you will run until more cars, rather than driving around hunting them down.
