As you can see, the dude who made this video didn't get it right the first time, but line launcher it is... There's no landing on any wall though, I can't remember off the top of my head which button does the tightrope in mid-flight, maybe middle mouse...

You can use the line launcher while you're gliding in the air. No need to land anywhere. Shoot out of the car, get into a glide, then use the line launcher button.

You never specified KB+M and I use a controller (and recommend one for this game). No need to twist your testes.

both of you are wrong. I have went painstakingly through the entire damn set up of every button. And I have contacted support and they have said specifically it is not the line launcher. That they have blocked it. Now I know you idiots TLDRed the post and are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trolling you idiots. LEARN TO READ THE ENTIRE THING OR KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT.

I did this riddle today with the method that everyone is telling you here. Tech support might think you're talking about a different trophy.

You do not have Batman touch any of the walls as he glides. You deploy the line launcher midflight.

No, they're correct; you're wrong and are making a fool of yourself. Using the line launcher mid-air is the intended way of solving this puzzle. If tech support says otherwise, they don't know what they're talking about. Which isn't surprising, really.

Use the EMP. Eject. Hold Space to glide. Hold the middle mouse button to use the line launcher while gliding. Wait on the line until the buttons are active. Use Batarangs. Get the trophy.

That's the intended way of solving the puzzle. It's not a "cheat."

I had trouble on this one for a while, keyboard and mouse here. Turns out I wasn't using the cars eject properly, I didn't have upgraded eject. I eventually did this by charging the cars eject(holding the button) so it launched me as high as possible. Once I was high enough I could activate the line launcher, the shield re-activated and I could land on top of it.

Wow... Probably the rudest poster I've seen on here considering people are genuinely trying to help you. That won't serve you well in life.

I went and had a look at this again in game about 5 minutes ago. I don't have the option to film video but I took some screenshots of me sitting on the successfully deployed line launcher. Obviously there is no electric shield in pictures because I completed this Riddle 5 months ago, but I did everything as I posted above, as did everyone else who has completed this Riddle. Eject glide and hold the stun button - either middle mouse, or in my case I remapped it to e.
Try it again and try some manners while you're at it.

You do use the line launcher. After the EMP goes you eject and then while you are gliding you hold the action button which for me is default holding down my scrolling button. Once that happens you will line walk it and then throw batarangs for it. I know this as fact as I just finished the game with everything completed including Riddler for the second time. It can take a few tries to time it but once you figure it out it comes pretty easy.

It was frustrating for me at first on KB/M, but when I tried Q instead of MMB (which I hate btw), it worked fine. That is not via rebinding keys btw. The PC pdf manual clearly states that Q or MMB can be used for Tightrope mode with the Line Launcher.

My guess is that some people's mouse wheels are not responding well to this particular gadget command.
