is anyone's game's crashing?

I played this on the PS4 before i got it on pc again. Gave my ps4 to my brother so playing it here. But it keeps crashing suddenly?

I just finished the main story mission where i catch the fake Arkham Knight with the voice synthesizer, right before i could interrogate the guy the game crashed with no warning or error pop ups. So i uninstalled and reinstalled the game cause verifying files said there was no issues. So reinstalling helped.

Then RIGHT AFTER, i was finally able to interrogate the fake Knight and went to collect my vehicle upgrade i got from Lucius and the game crashed with the same thing, NO WARNING and NO ERROR pop ups.

So im wondering if anyone has the same issues as me cause If reinstalling doesn't help then idk what can.

Yes, game is crashing randomly now. I played this game through (twice) in 2018/19 with very few crashes - maybe 4 or 5 total.

I have already had 3 crashes and I am at the beginning of the game - meeting Poison Ivy for the first time.

This is not good.

Windows 10 updated, 32GB ram, Nvidia, RTX2080 8GB, I7 intel.

I found a stable run when I shut off the "Interactive Smoke and/or Enhanced FOG" and left everything else maxed - no crashes yet.

Nope. i didnt update to windows 11 yet lol. I saw a few solutions that might help like making sure in the geforce control panel that physX was set to GPU instead of Auto.

I never met any crash problems in either Windows 10 or 11? What's ur pc specs first, btw?

I've had the game crash 3 times now and I'm only at the part where you meet Poison Ivy for the first time. My pc is more than enough to run this game, so not sure what the issue is. Looks like I'll be getting a refund which is a shame as I wanted to complete this one.

Turn off the interactive smoke, although they said they fixed it, crashes still happen randomly especially while recording with Nvidia Shadowplay.

I don't know but windows 11 has generated some awful security blockades for me. The defender is blocking some well-signed applications for no reason. See if it is blocking either steamwebhelper or, the game executable separately. Allow 'em on Appropriate Networks. Your problem should go away.
Whatever the source, it is an access violation. For some reason the game or, steam itself can't access the game file's directory,

Seems to have sorted it
