Gadgets While Gliding not working

I know I need to initiate a Glide Kick, then somehow target other baddies to throw gadgets at. I initiate the kick, and don't hold the kick button. I try WASD, I try moving the mouse, nothing works. Pressing 1 won't throw a Batarang no matter what.

I'm on mouse + keyboard if that matters. I also notice Critical Hits are SUPER inconsistent even if I'm getting the timing right.

I struggle with this as well still. What I've gathered is as you're gliding and locked on, target circles will appear on those that are close enough to your Glide Kick target. It says use W and S to select targets but it certainly doesn't feel like that selects targets, so basically I wait till I see the targeting circles then mash button lol

Interesting. I'll keep trying, but I've never seen targeting circles appear.
