If you're AMD, try install 15.7.1 I didn't think I would have to go back that far but I did and the game works. It doesn't perform as good as current drivers, but it shouldn't crash.
Here you go my friend, and yes i tried everything....to be the most honest possible, i can tell you this, it´s really a shame that the cracked version CPY, tweaked, worked better than the original......i´m really disappointed, and WB stopped answer me, and i own the game now.....they only say to check my files, and other basic things.....with weeks between answers....Jesus...i really want to own this game, but like this....i prefer a refund, and play with the cracked one......it´s so embaracen that even i´m embarneced with what i´m saying, and i fell cheated of just trying to be honest, and give my support to a fantastic hero game...........

it doesn´t have one, just crashes...........i have an MSI GT72S Dominator Pro G, with a GTX 980M 8gVRAM......SO I THINK I SHOULD´NT HAVE NO PROBLEM
the answers from W.B. are in a loop here
this is their last one
Unfortunately, Windows 10 is not officially supported for this game. When it is supported, the system requirements for Batman: Arkham Knight will be updated on Steam. However, we would still be happy to assist you with your issue.
Please try to run the game in compatibility mode for Windows 7 or Windows 8 (you may have to try both) and as an administrator. In order to do so, please follow these steps:
1. Find the main BatmanAK.exe file of the game which is usually under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Batman Arkham Knight\Binaries\Win64.
2. Right click it and select Properties.
3. Click the 'Compatibility' tab and then tick the box labelled 'Run this program in compatibility mode for'. Now, select either Windows 7 or Windows 8 (you can use trial and error and see if it runs better under one of the two).
4. Activate as well the option 'Run this program as an administrator'.
5. Click OK and test the game.
so......no solutions....
Usually when the game crashes users will see something like this

Ignore this, the game runs fine, actually it runs better on Windows 10 because of WDDM 2.0
Have you tried the usual like verifying game cache? Reinstalling redistributables? Doing a clean install of the latest GPU drivers?
It almost certainly does. Crashes to Desktop (CTD) with no error CAN occur , but most of the time you'll see a "application has stopped working" dialog box which doesn't present any extended info like older versions of Win9x did.
Ostensibly, this was done to improve the "user experience", but it makes it impossible to get info about a crash unless you know where to look. You may sometimes see a "View Problem Details" dropdown, but most of the time you need to go look in the Windows event viewer and search for any application error event messages for the program you were using - batmanak.exe in this case.
Go to Control Panel -> Event Viewer -> Administractive Events -> hit ctrl+f and type "batmanak.exe", and look for an event that occurred at the date/time of the crash. You'll find output in the "general" box that looks like this -- (from an old crash on my own machine)
Faulting application name: BatmanAK.exe, version: 1.5.2.0, time stamp: 0x566a2a15

The important bits here are the "faulting module name", and the "exception code". I don't think I ever actually bothered analyzing this particular crash, but basically what happened here was an exception was thrown by the Visual C+ runtime , probably because It couldn't find a driver or directx capability it was looking for.
What he's showing here is an Unreal Engine Exception crash. This sort of output doesn't always happen, but it frequently will if the exception is thrown by Unreal C.
You'll notice alot of "filename not found" thingys in there, that doesn't mean a file is missing from your computer, it does that because it can't find the debugging files it needs because the symbol files are not included with the game (usually only programmers need those). In this case it's not giving any real clues, only the game itself and the OS kernel are implicated, so it's probably a driver or other kernel related issue such as overclocking or memory problems at cause.
Many times you'll see a specific file such as mscvrt100.dll, which is a visual C runtime library implicated. If that happens, it can mean that visual c is damaged, or it threw an exception because it couldn't find a feature/function elsewhere (directx or physx support, for example) that it needed. Thus, crash!.
I just bought Arkham Knight through Steam, and I keep getting the same error message when I try to start the game:
Fatal error!
BUILD_JULY_2012 1131609 07-01-2016 16:36.11 Game
Address = 0x0 (filename not found)
I did most of the suggested things above, but it still gives me the same message...
Could any of you help me with this? That would be great!
