ps5 controller

i'm playing on pc and have my ps5 controller connected, but for some reason the buttons displayed are mismatched. i'm getting xbox buttons rather than ps5, couldn't find any solution to it.

yeah I have it on because when i turn it off the game doesn't detect the controller

well you can just mod it in. https://www.nexusmods.com/batmanarkhamknight/mods/34

the game does not Support Steam Input so it will not do icon swapping... and the controller came out after the last patch of the game so...
better off with Steam Input anyway and modding it in the end.

EDIT: note that you only need to change out the PC.int file and not the rest that is noted in the mod description as Steam Input does the rest.

hey. thanks for your reply. i downloaded the file but i don't know what to do next. i replaced the file PC.int with the old PC.int file. is this how it should work? cuz nothing changed

you replaced the whole file? cause you are only supposed to replace a small specific section of it.

same steps pretty much. just copy the icon data from the PS version to the Xbox version and thats it.

So I'm having an issue with just the steam input. I don't mind the xbox icons i can overlook it. But the triggers and bumpers are inverted do you know how I Could fix this? I cant find anyway to simply just remap them lol

With SteamInput? easy as it gets! you can remap anything with SteamInput easily within Steam, Have the controller connected and open the detailed page of the game on Steam in desktop mode and there is a controller button that will open a configurator window for you. You can manually edit things, reset it to default or download a config someone else has made for the game in the community. This is also available in the Big Screen mode and also on the Steam Overlay IIRC.

to note, normal controllers should just map correctly out of the box by default. Unless you have some sort of weird controller or you changed the settings yourself then it sounds weird.
