How to Quit this Riddler Challenge

I made a mistake and entered the first riddler challenge. Not able to speed up enough to beat it. Either I'm doing te controls wrong or my Batomobile isn't strong enough.

In both cases, I wanna go back to main Missions. How to do that? Quit only takes me at start of challenge again ..

If it's one of the Batmobile challenges to free Catwoman, you can just backtrack to where the elevator is and go up once you're in it.

That said, I found the single most useful thing in the tougher Riddler racing challenges was just using bumper cam view.

Press Left Control to open and close Riddler platforms and obstacles while navigating the course.

I know how to get the platforms. Just too slow to slide on walls. Just need to get out for now. Catwoman isn't worth saving .. yet at least

You really need to learn to drive on walls. It gets much much harder later. I recommend this track for practicing your driving on walls skills. I can probably record a video of the track you're having trouble with in a day or two.

Making it WAY easier to drive on walls was the main reason I switched to bumper cam mode. Better get used to it, because there's a main mission later where it's imperative you know how to drive on walls of round tunnels.

Are we talking about tactics or finding your way out now? You've yet to mention if you got back to the elevator and were able to leave the event.

Anyways, I can't think of any Batmobile upgrades that will solve the problem you've having. Afterburner is really only necessary on the jumps, and you get that early on.

Eventually you're going to have to listen to and try some of the advice here.
