Oh get the f*** over yourself buddy. The game's released. They already got the major media backlash and suffered financial losses. And it's the last batman game.
You can stick by your principles and that's fine and dandy, but you'd be missing out on a great game that works fine now.
So OP, yes... DLC is worth it. Tons of extra content that really finishes up the experience. You get to finish up lose ends like Mr. Freeze, The mad Hatter, Killer Croc, and Ras Al Ghul. You also have a ton of extra challenge maps to play and even new batmobiles to drive.
Be warned though, most batmobiles are not available in the open world, they only work on the challenge maps.
You actually can use any batmobile in free roam new game or new game +, providing you're not in the middle of a mission that requires the use of a battle mode batmobile.
In short, come for the extra characters and stay extra skins and Batmobile challenges and story. But like I said, nothing beats fighting as Batman & Red Hood. Bats is just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ versatile that I am still uncovering new ways to take down thugs with his gadgets. Red Hood has guns, he straight up executes them when he is not beating the living ♥♥♥♥ out of them, it's so brutal.
You had me sold at nananananana lol. Ok cool so I think I will get of these. Does the season pass include everything that has come out?
Unlikely; Passed mods of this caliber where from the Linux version but with it's cancellation... Well, lets just say that if it happened it would be a huge undertaking.
the short DLC are nothing but 3 challenge maps with a cut scene thrown in between the maps tho' they play into the overall game either pre or post Arkham Knight story.
To answer your question: yes.
The DLC's a bit pricey for what it is but I still enjoyed what I got. The bulk of it is challenge maps, both combat and predator, along with batmobile racetracks. If you're a fan of being able to play as more characters in the challenge maps (who each feel pretty unique) and want to try out all the different batmobiles on themed maps (which are also really unique with their sounds and how they handle), then I'm sure you'll similarly enjoy what the season pass has to offer.
A poster above me loved Red Hood but Harley Quinn was actually my favourite. Her individual "arkham episode" is really really short (much like Red Hood's, Catwoman's, Nightwing's and Robin's) but being able to play as her in challenge maps more than makes up for it. Batgirl's DLC is closer to an hour rather than the 10 minute arkham episodes I've already mentioned and feels less like a challenge map. There's a few new mechanics and a lot of extra goodies which a poster already covered here.
As for the 1960's Batmobile and the tracks that come with it -- you'll love it. The props, the music... a lot of love was clearly poured into it. I wasn't a fan of the Tumbler's maps (inspired by The Dark Knight) but the tracks for the 1989 batmobile are also great.
The last bit of DLC is the Season of Infamy. It's honestly overpriced for what essentially amounts to 1 hour of content split between 4 extra missions that you can do while playing new game or new game +. I still reckon it's worth getting because the 4 missions are all great and I really enjoyed revisiting these characters. Not to mention there's less of a focus on the batmobile in these missions.
So overall the season pass is worth getting if most of this interests you. Otherwise, pick it up on sale.
