Hoarding my Waynetech Points
I have been enjoying this game very, very much, and I have had no performance issues whatsoever.

However, the only complaint that I have, though, is the new upgrade system. I currently have over 40 WayneTech points to spend and I have no idea what I want to spend them on. I have only upgraded a few things. I just hate the thought of spending something now and potentially locking myself out of something I really need or want later.

Despite my limited use of upgrades, I just finished destroying the first Penguin Weapons Cache and still haven't felt too challenged yet (normal difficulty), but I am sure that will come.

What are some of your suggestions for their use? I am playing with the DLC already installed so the points do some readily available, but I have heard that upgrading everything really isn't likely on a single playthrough.

As long as you have all the DLC, and go through all of the AR stuff, you will have more than enough points to upgrade everything fully on a single playthrough.

Thanks. That's good to know, but I am still torn on what to invest in next!

I just go in order of number of points. First the 1 point armor/batmobile stuff, then the 2 point, etc. Works out pretty well.

In all of the Batman games the most important upgrade is the one that reduces the number of hits you need to unlock combo finishers.

Good suggestion. That is one of the few that I did get earlier. I hate having to wait 'til eight.

Focus on brawl combat upgrades, then supplement whatever stealth tactics you use the most, and then Batmobile combat upgrades. For extra challenge, leave all health upgrades as the very last ones. Then again, that what I do for all the Arkham games, or not even use them at all.

I have leftover points after getting everything. Wouldn't hurt to come up with new additions.

Ok, whooo this will be a long one.

First of all, pro tip, keep an eye on combat, yes but also keep a constant eye on your meter. It pays to know beforehand in how many strikes your next special attack will unlock.

Freeflow Gadgets: choose the stun upgrade and combine it with the first upgrade for the Batclaw to pull them in, stun them and kick them away. Good for breathing room. Incapaciation in middle of combat comes next. The modified versions of Batclaw (slam), Ice Grenade and REC are exceptionally useful. The latter two for area control, the former because it can insta-KO any thug. Even the armored, electrified ones.

Predator Gadgets: Disruptor comes first because it has the most uses.Upgrade it as much as you can.

Combat: Special Combo Batarang Takedown takes out all downed enemies. Great for clearing the room after a Throw Counter in a room with many enemies cause the thrown thug will also knock down any of his teammates that he gets thrown into. Also, Critical Strikes for double the cost of strikes being added to your meter.

Batsuit: shockwave, most definately.

Batmobile: Afterburner, Vulcan Gun and Ejector Seat. The rest is negligible.
