[SOLVED] Mind your head riddler trophy (green energy field under Panessa studios)

tl;dr - for the love of God, how do I fire a line launcher while gliding? (on PC; mouse/keyboard)

Has anyone actually gotten this trophy on PC? Any tips on getting it anyone, please? I know I am supposed to fire power winch to get powered up, get rid of the force field, launch eject from the batmobile, fire a line launcher while gliding, and then batarang the three questionmarks when the green force field comes back.

First I wasn't able to launch eject from the Batmobile while in tank mode as was shown in all the videos I watched, I had to disconnect the power winch and switch to a regular car in order for launch eject to work. Ok. But when I am gliding, I cannot launch the line launcher as I'm supposed to; no prompt shows up, double-tapping "9" doesn't do jack, neither does holding it down, I tried probably everything. All the guides I've found were for Playstation which said "hold down L3" so that's not helpful.

Some people were supposedly successful in landing on the ledge of the forcefield after launching from the car (which I was able to do) and then fire a line launcher normally, but I can't really fire it when standing on that ledge.

I am currently in kind of a rage mode; been trying to get this for a fxcking month, currently ended an hour-long session where I did nothing else but try and fail. Any help appreciated.

I got it in a few minutes. I shot out of the car by double tapping space. Then I stood on the ledge of the room about half way up. It's a very small ledge which runs around the room slightly above the forcefield. From there I could use 9 and right click to make a line.

PROBLEM SOLVED. It was middle-mouse button which fired a tightrope during the glide.

Thank you so much GoldFish. I was losing my mind trying to figure this out, I had no idea there was a secret button to launch a tightrope while gliding. What an absolute pain of a puzzle.

I can confirm that as of 2025 you can indeed get this trophy only playing with M/K. you have to KKEP the middle mouse button pressed for the line launcher to deploy while gliding. IF that still doesn't work, delete the save from steam, and let the steam cloud get the save back, and try it again, while gliding, between two places, KEEP pressing the middle mouse button while having the line launcher selected, and while gliding..
