HOW TO FIX RESOREP OR ANY GRAPHICAL MODS THAT ARE CRASHING YOUR BATMAN ARKHAM KNIGHT

So first you need to delete resorep completely so u delete 2 folders the one in your documents and one you downloaded off of the website the documents folder can be found here C:\Users\"your user"\Documents\resorep So you can delete it here then you have to go to your game folder which is here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Batman Arkham Knight.

and click on bmgame and delete config then you go back and delete Binaries then you gotta verify integerty of game files and after thats complete just delete your batman arkham knight shortcuts and go to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Batman Arkham Knight\Binaries\Win64

and rightclick on BatmanAK.exe and hover your mouse over send to and click send to desktop

and after that you right click on the new shortcut you made and click properties then compatibility then click on run this game on compatibility mode for windows 7 then click apply and thats it your batman arkham knight should work again.

Thanks Gibby! I deleted all the resorep folders, and binary and config folders and it worked! I didnt do the compatibility mode though.

I had the biggest stroke while reading this, but I managed to get rid of Resorep in the process, so thanks.

If this does not work for anybody try deleting d3d11 and ori_d3d11 from your binaries>win64 folder, then add the game back to resorep. Worked for me

great work. for me, though: I wouldn't even play BAK without the Resorep textures available for the game, so getting rid of Resorep isn't, for me, an option. My experience is that, so far, Resorep works perfectly for BAK (& Sunset Overdrive) as long as I play the Steam versions, in the Steam library, in the proper directory. If I try it in a cracked version of either game, result: no go. & when it works, Resorep is reliable &, unlike Texmod, you just set it & forget it as long as you don't change the directory. my 2 cents.

Work's fine for me now ,I deleted everything regarding Resorep,did a clean re-install of the games that use it and bam,works.

@sam Thanks, I was struggling with Sunset overdrive once I've changed PCs I was not able to run game with Resorep anymore. Your solution worked perfectly for me: Deleting Resorep from /User Documents than deleting d3d11 and ori_d3d11 from game dir in Steam apps and following Resorep guidelines brought back all my lost setup.
