Water missing from the entire map

So for some reason all the water from the map is gone which makes the map look incredibly weird when flying around. If it was just a visual problem then that'd be one thing but I tested it out to see if the water was actually "gone." Turns out it was completely removed because I tried falling into it. Normally you'll just respawn immediately but without the water I literally fall through the map forever and I can see all the underground locations. Has anyone else dealt with this and know of any fix?

Tried doing that a couple of times and unfortunately it didn't work. I even did a full reinstall of the game and that did nothing either

Have you tried to start a new game to check out whether water is present? Might be a save issue. It also might be an issue with shaders. Go to "Steam\steamapps\shadercache\208650" and wipe out everything inside. You can restore it later if it won't help.

Tried loading a new game, still the same thing. Haven't done the shaders trick though, I'll try that. I appreciate it man!

This might be a driver/PhysX issue.
1. Clean Install your driver.
Uninstall >> Restart >> Install >> Restart.
2. Verify the integtity as suggested by StreamWhenGuy and try again.
3. Check for any overclocked profiles.
4. Retain default configuration files, not to put adjusted values.
5. Clear temporary download cache and relaunch the game.
Kindly tell us the results.

The more important question is, has it always been like that or did the issue just pop up out of nowhere at some point? If the latter, then something's changed. We need to figure out what.
Yeah, reinstalling GPU drivers using DDU in Safe Mode wouldn't hurt, either.

I know this post is already 2 years old, but maybe someone else will have the same problem and look for a solution. In my case, the issue was caused by the mod 'Skybox and Weathers Replacer,' specifically the 'Midnight' file. Just delete it, and everything will work as it did before.

I can play Asylum and City on my potato, on the lowest settings. Knight, not so much.
