Any difficulty achievements?

So are there any achievements that relate to the difficulty you play on for this game? I'm wondering so I know whether I should play on a medium difficulty or dig straight into the hardest mode. I'll dread having to replay the story again because of it!

None. The previous 3 games had difficulty level achievements; this one doesn't, and the challenge maps are all the same difficulty level regardless of play setting. There is a Knightmare NG+ mode in the challenge maps that unlocks after completing the main game, but otherwise nothing that truly changes the parameters of achievements. And if you do get into a scenario too deep, you can reduce your current play setting in-game to Normal and reset it to Hard afterward, something you couldn't do in the previous games. Dig in.

just bought the game on deal, should i prioritise the download?

All the DLC have already been released, so if you have the Season Pass you don't need to.

Currently replaying Arkham Knight because of personal preferences but I think you should play the games in order.

Thanks there are like 30 hidden achievements so not sure if the difficulty ones were a part of it just making sure so I don't replay the game like 5 times.

Good point about release order, there is a skillset progression from Asylum through Knight that should be respected in order to get the most from all 4 games. Not totally sure why games have hidden achievements; I think that's mainly to avoid giving away story spoilers.

Don't be me and get carried away with the skins lol. Have fun though! I'm having a blast haven't played the Arkham series in so many years it feels like playing a brand new series like when I was a kid cheers hope you have as much fun as I am right now :)
