Is the most wanted DLC worth it?

You already faced all of them in Arkham City. I was expecting some new villains like Killer Moth or Prometheus but it's the same old, same old. Feels lazy and uninspired.

How long it takes to beat it? And, when unlocked i.e. bought, it happens in the main story Gotham map or it opens up an option in the main menu?

Yes, it's very worth it. Those four Season of Infamy DLC missions are better than some of the vanilla Most Wanted missions. Also, each mission can only be played once you reach a milestone on the City of Fear.

Only thing to watch out for is if you play season of infamy after you completed the main story...you'll get permanent snow effect after finishing the Mr Freeze story...this will carry over into the free roam(i f you like playing that)
make a back up save...pull the file out or rename it.
also the Ra's story has one of those 'choose' endings(just like the ending to the Azrael story in the main story)....to see the other choice you'll need to reload you saved game and replay the story

I just finished everything in that order: Mad Hatter, Killer Croc, Ra's Al Ghul and Mr. Freeze. It was short but very cool.
