Nvidia Gameworks in 2021

Most of us know that Nvidia Gameworks graphics settings were best left turned off when the game was released. This was due to the large drops in framerate. However, in 2021 most of us have much more powerful graphics cards. So, I was just wondering if people still leave the settings off.

I ran some benchmarks on a 1070 and 2560x1080. Around 110 fps with rain and light shafts on only. Around 75 fps with everything maxxed out. It seems like fog is still the killer setting as it really hurts game performance.

Here is what I found from reading about how much gameworks settings impact framerate:
Fog - heavy
paper/debris, light shafts - moderate
rain - light
