Spoilers - Need help I'm not sure if I got it right
So I'm at the point where Barbara was kidnapped and the Riddler is making me do stuff to save Catwoman, If I help Catwoman does that mean Barbara dies? And viceversa? In all honesty if it's a matter of choice (without spoiling please) would it be too bad if I let Selina blow away?

Barbara is part of the main story...the Riddler'Catwoman is a side quest...I usually do Catwoman after the main story because I like using different Batmobiles for the Riddler race tracks...different Batmobiles(they all handle differently) are only available upon completion of the main story.

So all of that speech about "she'll blow up if you don't do this on time" it's bs? I'd rather stick to the main story then. I can just complete it all and then take up where I left with the Riddler and Catwoman?
Thanks!

IIRC, he says he'll blow her up in the morning, so you have until the end of the night to save her (which is unlimited in game time).

Unless there's a stopwatch on a mission, you have all the time in the world. Players new to both Arkham City and Arkham Origins would cheat themselves out of available upgrades because they paid too much heed to the prompts "I need to get to Catwoman now!" in City and "I need to get to Jezebel Plaza now." in Origins, rushing to mission objectives too early before allowing themselves to properly rank up.

Those prompts are to remind you of your primary objective, just in case you quit the game and returned later. If there's no countdown timer on an event, you can ignore those prompts and level up by doing side missions.

Well as said doing side missions will get you upgraded which you need to do to the bat-tank...
considering half the game or more is 'tank battles'...I think most players doing the game for the 1st time will at least start all the side missions as they become available...side missions also offer a 'break' from the never ending 'tank battles'.

the side missions are triggerd to start at different points in the game(as well as the 4 missions in Season of Infamy)...there are only 2 places(as far as I remember(Azrael and Ra's Al Guhl) where you actually make a choice(good thing to save there before making the choice as you can replay it to see the other choice outcome).

Think of the missions like quests in an MMO. If you have a main quest to go somewhere, it will not hurt you at all to do a sidequest beforehand. Think of it like time pausing. Barbara's fate will not change by doing sidequests firsts.
