The "Even the Odds" issue (crash/freeze)

After all this time, I finally installed this game for my first playthrough and got this problem, right after the camera angle show Batman landing with the batmobile at distance, it freezes but the cutscene sound continues. And its one of those games that take over the controls, making it difficult to close it.
Tried running on fullscreen windowed, and got the same issue. So I turned off Interactive Smoke as suggested, restarted the game and the cutscene ran fine.

My question is, this will be the only time that Interactive Smoke will cause a issue? It's OK to turn it back on?

Keep it off, there's plenty more upcoming effects. Or downgrade your NVidia driver to 457.51; That was the last driver that allowed interactive smoke / fog.

Supposedly the most recent driver update fixed it again. Have not tried it yet, but I can confirm that the driver version I'm currently using still crashes. It's 466.77

And it crashed again a few hours later. Might try that newer driver version later. However, since this is my least favorite BA game, I'm in no real hurry to play it.
