arkham knight saves deleted (epic games)
so when arkham knight was free on epic i picked it up, i think i finished the story. i deleted the game to download something else and i reinstalled it today, opened it, and all i see is empty save slots. i opened the location of the saves and there is a backup folder, it has the saves but what do i need to do now? it just stays at 0 percent.

The Epic version save games are in the
Games\BatmanArkhamKnight\BmGame\SaveData
since you deleted the game ...that save got deleted as well
there should be backup saves in:
Documents\WB Games\Batman Arkham Knight\STEAMID\SaveData\backup
just copy and paste the backup into the original SaveData folder
remove the date ending to the files

Are they actually Epic version saves and not Steam, many people have/had both versions

Does anything show up when you select load backup on th emain menu where you select a save to play...it's 'Y' on a controller and '-' on keyboard
--
start a new game and see where it save it...you know just get theru to the part where batman first shows up on the tower then you'll see the save activating..
--
do you have a hex edit program? if you do open any of the backup saves and see what the numbers are in the top line....they should start with '00 10 25 00' for Epic saves.

I have somewhat of a solution for you. Buy the game whilst it is on sale on steam, replay the masterpiece and enjoy it. Doesn't solve the issue of your save but is what I did as I also got it free on Epic. ♥♥♥♥ Epic.

Yes, remove the datestamp so the file looks like your standard .sgd saves.

What a joke! Hex editing to swap save files within the same platform. What is the point Rocksteady?
