How to tell when to do blade dodge takedown without counter symbols?
I am playing on New Game Plus which means no counter symbols, and I am wondering how I know when to do a blade dodge takedown?

You do understand that the sword enemies have multiple attacks, and don't just use the same attack (the only one that you can use the blade dodge takedown on) over and over correct?

You do understant that you use blade takedown just like in previous games on New Game +, right?
Pay attention to enemy attack animation not counter icon above their head for once.

The beginning attack animation is the same as their normal attack animations...

Not really. Pay more attention. Its exactly the same like in Arkham City and Origins when you play them on New Game +.
Its all the matter of good, old "git gut" , pal
Less complaining on forum and more paying attention to the game you are playing, please.

If you cannot do that then you can always just do a dodge instead of takedown.

Nobody or nothing in the game is really forcing you to do blade takedown to be fair. Unless you are doing that for the extra experiance points there is no reason to risk your combo on New Game + on hard difficulty for that.

You simply need to press the appropriate key/button at the right time. It's up to you to determine when that is without the counter prompts, so yeah I'd also call it a matter of "git gud"

The difference is very subtle, to the point that you cannot really tell that it is that attack while also fighting a horde of enemies.

Hmmmmmmm, its ALMOST like NG+ was meant for people who did git gut or something.
Did you git gut yet? No, because you are too busy complaining on forums that hard mode is hard despite the fact people had zero issues fighting those enemies in Arkham City and Arkham Origins before.

I'm not complaining that hard mode is hard, I am just asking how I tell whether they are using the attack without the yellow counters.

By looking at enemy attack animation. Kinda like Dark Souls.

Same thing with every single other enemy type and their attacks in other Arkham games on NG+.
You just need to pay attention to pattern. Its just simple that. There is no magic trick, instant win button or something - you just need to learn animation and git gut. That really all.

And if you don't want to do blade takedown you can just dodge and punch the guy instead.

Learning to spot the difference just takes practice. It's in the animation and the timing.

However, until you can do that, the easy thing to do is to just treat every attack* by a ninja as if it were a blade attack and start to respond by holding counter and pulling away. If it ends up being a regular attack, then no harm done; you still pressed counter, so you'll counter it like normal. If it ends up being a blade attack, you'll see your character dodge backwards and you'll know you need to continue the blade dodge takedown.

* Well, ok, not the "flurry" attacks during the Ra's side mission; you obviously have to respond to those differently.
I need help with the cloudburst tank fight. I defeated the cobra drones and overheated the cloudburst tank then I've to takedown the tank but I died there. Now when the game starts I've to do the final part that is destroy the cloudburst by depleting it's life gauge but I can not find the cloudburst tank. I'm starting right infront of the GCPD building and the tank is at the same position but underground. I can not find any way to get to him. Someone please help me.
