Character Showcase Unlocked?

Whenever i collect certain riddler trophies, i'm told a new character showcase has been unlocked
But what IS a character showcase? I cant find any mention of this feature in the menus or the batcomputer

Showcase is the 6th item down on a save slot main menu, can't miss it.

the Showcase is where you can choose which Batsuit you want Batman to wear...same with Nighwing and Catwoman(harley doesn't work for unknown reasons)....
You go into the Showcase prior to starting the games main story or if in game....you will need to exit the game to get to the menu....the more you progress in the main story the more characters will unlock...the images will also provide a basic info about it.

The Showcase also shows all Batmobile/game characters and enemies, depending on which menu you choose
