Problem with AMD Graphics Card
My computer fulfills the minimum requirements fro the game and I'm confident it can run it, I've seen videos of people running it with my same specs, or even worse ones.
However whenever I open it I get serious stuttering thoughout the entire intro and menu. When I go to options it says I don´t have any Vram available, even though I have a AMD Radeon HD 8600/8700 that gives me 2Gb, which is the minimum needed for it. I've tried everything, from disabling the Intel Graphics, to trying different software for the graphics cards, and attempting several diferent configs for the switchable graphics, but nothing seems to work.

"My computer fulfills the minimum requirements fro the game"

I really doubt it does. HD 8600/8700 is a series so maybe figure out what gpu that you actually have. and its also likely the mobile series so even the fastest one in the 8600m/8700m is no where near meeting minimum requirements for this game. I also believe that the 8600m series only have 1 gb of vram and only the 8700m series has 2gb. again though even the fastest 8700m gpu is pathetic. also its likely the rest of your system is too slow for the game anyway as many of those laptops came with pitiful low power cpus many of which were just dual core cpus and only 4gb of system ram.

go to help in the top left of Steam and and get ALL your system info and list it here. also use gpuz to see what the amount of vram you have is. https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/

And I checked with your program that my graphics card actually does have 2Gb of Vram

ok your cpu is much better than expected but still quite slow though it should run the game fine but certainly not 60 fps even if your gpu could do that. and you do have 8gb of ram which is not bad at all. the 8750m does have 2gb like you said but as I told you earlier it is quite slow but luckily you only play at 1366x768. it should easily handle low settings and maybe even a few medium at that res and keep 30 fps especially if its the gddr5 version. if its the ddr3 version of the 8750m then you may struggle to keep 30 fps.

ok all that said, I have no idea what is going on with it. so you cant even adjust any settings at all?

I can only make it run on windowed mode... I get an immediate crash on fullscreen. Afterwards, when I struggle through the opening logos and get to the main menu, I go to the graphics options to change everything to minimum, and there I see that were the game shows you the amount of VRAM you have, it says 0, when I clearly have 2Gb.
I've tried lots of stuff, however I think its an issue with switchable graphics at this point, because I suspect the game is running on the intel GPU instead of the AMD. And I've tried configuring it several times.. same result.

Yup, tried that. Reconfiged all of my setup and still nothing.
AbedsBrother Jul 2, 2018 @ 7:27am
Even if you solve the issue with the switchable graphics, you're under the minimum requirements, both for cpu and gpu.

Why? Its 2Gb gpu and 8Gb of Ram
Idk.

My gpu is an 860m gtx with 2Gb abd it runs the game perfectly in 1080p and 60fps granted graphics settings are a mix of low and medium. Don't forget that amd isn't as optimized as nVidia.

Driver version 13.152.1.2300, when was the last time you attempted to update your drivers?

Google says points out it *is* catalyst, and searching about it brings google links that is dated 11/6/2013, 13.152.1.230, which is "AMD Catalyst™ 13.9", which also released on september of '13, so, not only it is obsolete, it at this point is ancient.

Just to be sure run dxdiag and go to display section to check for the driver version. If it still shows 13.152, you're way overdue for a driver upgrade, however, I'm not sure how laptops operate so I can't give you and help on that front.

It might very well be case of game not knowing what gpu you're running when checking information from obselete drivers which it doesn't recognize, WB and rocksteady might have taken route of not including every iteration of past drivers.

Sorry, but the 8750M is a low end piece of mobile junk that doesn't even remotely meet this game's min requirements.

This doesn't mean it can't or won't run (make sure switchable graphics is configured correctly) but even if you are lucky enough that it does it probably won't perform very well.

Your Radeon HD 8750M (0.6 terraflops) can run about 400% fewer calculations per second than the minimum recommended Radeon gpu, the 7870 (2.5 terraflops).

Your cpu is closer to the minimum recommended, but still falls short by about 20%.

I mean not to mention it is laptop, you from the getgo should have assumed it would not be able to run it cleanly.

you are full of poop claiming to get 60 fps on mix of medium and low at 1080p with an 860m. an 860m is essentially just a slightly slower desktop 750 ti and even the desktop 750 ti could not average remotely close to 60 fps at 1080p even on all low. I know because I have a 750 ti that I used when I was in between cards.

and this backs me up as it shows an 860m only getting 51 fps on all low at just 720p. you live in a fantasy land claiming better performance on higher settings at over twice the resolution.

this also shows how full of crap you are. 860m is getting just over 30 fps on all low at 1080p. lol and you are insane enough to claim 60 fps on mix of medium and low at 1080p.

Yup. Or compared to a GTX 660... it's way below min spec.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 compared to the AMD HD 8750M

511.6% faster (about 6 times) in synthetic tests
Wider memory bus (192 vs 128 bit)
More pipelines (960 vs 384)
Higher memory bandwidth (144.2 vs 64 GB/s)

OP, even if you do get it to run, you'll be looking at bad performance, somewhere in the neighborhood of 10-15 FPS on low/720p. The GPU is just not up to the task. It was low-end in 2013 when it came out TBH.
