Is Line Launcher useless?

Only times Line Launcher is viable to use is in Smoke or from behind besides Puzzles. I think it's terrible honestly

Totally useless. It never works when I want it to. In city it was amazing, it stuck to everything.

In this game? Pretty much. it's RARELY utilized, which is a shame.

How is it better in City? The only change to Line Launcher from City and Knight was the ability to deploy it while gliding to make a tightrope

A lot of the maps are in open sky man. That's Why. You need 2 sides that are solid to connect.
Arkham City and games prior Knight were all indoors
