Can't Move
I was playing Arkham Knight and then all of a sudden, I couldn't move anymore. I don't know why. I tried restarting the game, didn't work. I restarted my computer, didn't work. Tried using a controller, didn't work. Before I went into the story, it let me select things and use the keys. When I enter the game it happens. I know my keys aren't broken because I can type and play other games. And I'm not in windows mode, so I can't click out of it. Please, anyone reply if they know the solution.

1. Select game in Steam Library, right-click Properties, then Updates to choose Automatic Updating and to Allow Background Downloads.
2. Select game in Steam Library, right-click Properties, then Local Files and Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

If no joy, try reducing your screen resolution from inside the Graphic Options menu if it's maxed out. Needlessly high screen res has been a issue with multiple object and proximity registration bugs across all 4 Arkham games. it's a long shot but try it anyway.

If still no joy delete your Config folder, restart your computer, then verify to create a new folder:
Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Batman Arkham Knight \ BMGame \ Config

Where in the game did this happen, during what mission? There's a point mid-story involving an aerial Drone where your movements are cut off until you blind it with the RHD.

There is a progression blocker in Stagg Airship 2 both just prior to and during the Cloudburst event where if you don't enter from the nose cone as scripted, your actions are cut off. This can be remedied by backwinding your save from the main menu.

This wasn't during a mission, it was during free roam. I already beat the game. I was just going on to roam around and when I joined, I couldn't move. I tried story, new story + , and challenges. No luck.

Controller or keyboard?

I'm mainly on keyboard, but I tried controller to see if my keyboard was the problem. For some reason, it just won't let me move.

I don't know if this is important or not, but at first (when using keyboard) I was able to move forward and backward. I could also use the c key to see challenges, v key to see missions, and g key for gadgets. That was when I restarted the game and I couldn't move anything or use anything at all. Then, I connected my controller. This time, I could move around, and look around, but I couldn't run, glide, counter, stun, etc.

My bad, before you do all that unplug any conflicting inputs. Test with either the keyboard or controller, but not both. Unplug a gaming mouse if using the controller.

Thanks so much! It works like a charm. When i finished the integrity of game cache, it said one file had an error and reset. I can now move thanks to you!

Can I ask one more thing? In Arkham Origins, I can't get the multiplayer related achievements because I got the game after the multiplayer ended. Is there a way to get these achievements?

Unfortunately, no.

Sorry to bother. It wont let me move even after I tried all that stuff. I have a logitech gaming mouse and a red dragon keyboard. Have any other ideas?
