Panessa Studios Riddler trophy - Pressure pad not working

Hi,
In Panessa Studios, next to the Stage C door and adjacent to the Riddler game with the electric generators which you have to order by age, there is a wall that you can blow up. Once there, there is a pressure pad which is supposed to open up the red thing on the wall. Trouble is, the Riddller pressure pad is not working. It's just black. The red thing on the wall won't move at all, and the gate between the two sections is open. There is no Riddler trophy in sight, but there is a fuse box which causes the gate to move from one end to the other when you hit it with an electric charge from the remote electric charge.
I've tried finding a soloution to the problem but can't. I've tried restarting the level, and I've verified the integrity of the game cache. Any idea on how to solve the probelm?

Are you playing with screen resolution needlessly cranked to maximum? If so, reduce it from inside the Graphic Option menu for improved object and proximity registration and restart checkpoint. If still no joy, backwind your progress from the main menu and play forward:

Some puzzles are inactive until some point in main story.

@Mastan, it's the Remote Batarang puzzle that spawns at the same time as the age / generator riddle. It's always available upon first breach.

@Johny NIch, the graphics may not have loaded completely, it happens sometimes. If the above advice didn't work, come back to this area later.
