Any news on your situation? So far, I've done nothing at all; since this problem seems to be related to the most recent nvidia drivers.. it should be fixed on THEIR end, I would say. I mean it was all working without any trouble, until that "upgrade"..
But any information / help / ideas on the subject would be welcome.
gotta love windows 10, eh? rollback your drivers and it kindly upgrades them again...
After installing new drivers, or reinstalling an old one, check the control panel to make sure the physx is set to use your card, not your processor or auto-select.
yeap.. freedom of choice, it seems, is a problem they just don't want for their users to have to deal with..
Don't seem to have that option (or couldn't find it). Got W10 Enterprise, btw. Thanks for your comment, tho; maybe useful to other users having the same problem.
"Nvidia, this way you won't be able to play it"
To find it, type gpedit.msc in the search, it will be called Microsoft Common Console Document.
Now go to Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Component and then you scroll down and click Windows Update. A list will show up in the right window, you want to double-click on "Do not include drivers with Windows Update". Once the window appears, you want to select Enabled, hit Apply, then Ok, and reboot after closing the editor.
Afterwards, you can then do a clean install of the driver you want. I recommend not going above 385.69, as every driver above that seems to mess with the rain effects.
Nope.. but look at the latest reply posted by Arik on this thread. Will try that out. Dunno what Windows you have, tho, but if it's W10 might be of service. "More news as we have 'em"
Alrighty.. gonna try that one out, then. Thx!
Please search before posting. This is a well know issue, the problem is your graphics drivers. Remove/reinstall/upgrade them. you may need to remove the game's "config" folder and do a game cache verify as well to ensure that the game properly detects current hardware.
Another well know issue is an idiot going around threads assuming that everyones problem is their graphics card driver .
I have never known games be messed up by drivers more than the arkham series.
