Question about Heir to the Cowl (Azrael side mission). SPOILER ALERT!!!
SPOILERS for the side mission ending ahead!
--------------------------------------------------------------
So, at the very end of the side mission, when Azrael comes to the Clock Tower, you have three options:
1) Leave Clock Tower (if you don't take the sword)
and if you take it:
2) Kill Batman
3) Break The Sword

If you choose option 2 or 3, the sword obviously will no longer be in the Clock Tower, on its stand. (If you break it, the shards on the floor will disappear when you re-enter the Clock Tower, I checked it.) What I want to know is whether the sword will stay on its stand for the rest of the game if I choose option 1 (not touching the sword) or disappear when I re-enter the Clock Tower.

If somebody has chosen the first option and seen whether the sword stays first-hand, please confirm this.

Thanks!

just make a save game and replay it to see the other option

I'd do that, just thought somebody has already checked it. The thing is I have to play the main story all the way up to Barbara Gordon's crime scene. It's not that long, but still…

At first I thought this was a question about how Batman fits all his hair into his cowl but now that I've misread it I realise I'd also really like to know that answer.

OP, keep in mind that you can find your saves on the hard drive and back them up if you want to skip the replay thing. It might be less hassle to just replay it though, unless you're prepared to turn the Steam Cloud Saves off.

Your saves can be found in your Arkham Knight Steam folder.

If you don't know where that is, right-click Arkam Knight in your Library and choose 'Open Local Folder' (or whatever) from the 'Files' (or whatever) tab.

The same should be true of all the Batman Arkham series, if that helps.

Perhaps he has non-explosive gel for that.

Forgot to respond, if anyone's wondering the same thing, I've checked it, the sword definitely DOES stay in the Clock Tower for the rest of the game if you don't touch it.
