Throw counter

I do not understand how to trigger this move. I completed the tutorial linked to it, but I still cannot do it properly and now that I see I need to peform 3 of theses in a single flow I have no clue how I'm gonna do that.

I seriously hate how this game requires you to perform theses kind of impossible things to unlock stuff, specially when it's not explained clearly how to perform the move.

You walk towards them in a sense, so if you are in a flow and you leap towards an enemy and counter it will automatically throw them at the end of that counter.

It's explained pretty explicitly in the game. I mean, not only do they put you through a tutorial that requires you to do it, but the move is explained in the upgrade menu too.

Push the direction button/analogue towards the attacker, counter at the last second. That's all there is to it. It's very lenient with the counter window too. Just watch for the counter icon to turn bigger and brighter, and then move towards them and counter.

And i am here wondering why games are getting more and more dumb down and "self playing" XD

I only managed to do it by accident during the tutorial, and the upgrade is a bit hard to find among the many, many upgrades.

It's not that I want it dumbed down, I just want clear instructions as to how to. The PC tutorial button thing is basically WASD + Counter button. That's not really clear. I had the same issue with the knife wielding guys with the yellow counters. Did it by accident in tutorial, so I didn't learn it.

You have to execute the counter DURING their attack. It's at a specific point of every enemies attack and when executing it, hold the direction you want them to go. For instance, a bad guy is attacking me from the front; but, has two enemies behind him. I would wait for his attack to ALMOST hit me and then perform a counter as usual only this time holding the stick in the direction of the enemies behind him, the counter will play out as a special throw animation and Batman will launch the attacking enemy into his buddies: throw counter.
