Only sound batarang can lure guards. Otherwise it would be too easy.

I remember getting some to move sometimes with a batarang noise, though it was usually around a corner from them. Otherwise they look at the impact spot then turn to where they think it came from.

What sound batarang? are you talking about the sonic batarang? Because those aren't in the game.

Yeah, sonic one.
Hmm, haven't played in awhile. They were in some previous Arkham games.
Looks like they transformed it into voice synthesizer which serves a similar purpose.

I know which is a little odd i think, but sometimes the batarandgs lure them other times they just look at you and say hey batman lol no stealth gameplay for you

Epecially when using the reverse batarang

The way it seems to work is if a Batarang hits within earshot of a thug, they learn Batman's location. (They don't care about the point of impact at all.) One Batarang usually makes them pause and act suspicious of your location, but doesn't make them come running. Hearing a second Batarang while they're in the suspicious state will tend to make them sure of your location and have them run there.

Hitting them with a Reverse Batarang just makes them suspicious in the wrong direction, which just makes them stare that way for a few seconds. I don't think you can "lure" them anywhere using it. Same thing when you hit them with a manually controlled RC Batarang.
