Why, Rocksteady? It looks trashy. Also, the goggles should be over her eyes the majority of the time, not just when she's "investigating". They look pointless.

The only thing I find a bit trashy is how her suit is always open to show cleavage. It made even less sense in Arkham City, where it was supposed to be freezing cold, and it just feels like blatant fanservice.

Catwoman is often seen this way in the comics. Is true to source fanservice... yup. And it should be somthing that comic book based games strive for.

That too. It would be neat if it were zipped up in cold areas and open in more tepid areas. They went through the effort of making the suits degrade over time, so why not?

But she always has her goggles on in the new comics. It helps conceal her identity. Isn't she trying to conceal her identity? Before she had googles, the mask went around her eyes and over her nose.

I personally preferred her without the googles. With the mask over half her face. The first time I saw the googles (in one of the cartoon series), I found it pretty offputting.

Early on, perhaps, but I imagine everybody knows who she is by now. She's been a Gotham based criminal almost as long as Batman's been around, if not longer.

No matter how you try to criticize sex appeal in games, it's probably mostly guys playing this title, and most guys like sexy looking women. So it's not exactly abnormal to see here cleavage, eyes, and thong.

You have to realize Catwoman was always conveyed as a character whom flaunts her sex appeal. You can dream about her being a tight zipped, goggle wearing nerd that avoids sexy lingerie all you want, but that isn't the reality of the true Batman universe.

You can say a lot about what they got wrong on this title, but for the most part, Rocksteady always nails the character and canon elements.

They're probably there as protection as well, now that I think about it. Against what, I'm not sure. Tear gas, smoke, weapons and debris? I know soldiers sometimes wear googles. Edit: Protection from wind too.

The reality is, it's a stereotype either way. A mere thong, or lack of one, does not denote whether a woman is classy or not. And aside from that, as mentioned, her having such style is well within the Batman canon, so it should be expected, vs seen as unfitting.

If you want to be that picky about such things, we could just as well say anyone that stares closely enough at a woman's butt to notice what underwear she's wearing, is admiring her form enough to sound a bit odd complaining of her having a lack of "class". LOL

Bottom line, a lot of women wear thongs because they know men like to look at their behinds. Why should you be able to indulge in that scenario, but not her? Just seems odd.
