I had the same problems with the same card and ram as you. Do you have Nvidia Gameworks Settings turned on? If so then turn off interactive smoke/fog and it shouldn't crash anymore. It seems to be more of an issue indoors so you know.

Other than that you should be able to run the game on max settings @1080p pretty much, keep in mind the game isn't really smooth for anyone though because of such a bad port.

yep but there is something more weird, i need to put all graphics at the highest to play outside in the city, if i switch off gameworks settings, everything at lowest quality and run it at 720p the game crashes just like playing indoors.

That's unfortunate, we do have a different cpu mind, seems you have a different problem to me. I do get a much rarer crash now and again even with smoke/fog turned off. The game is just a shoddy port as I said and some problems were never fixed. Hopefully you can find a fix, if the crashes aren't too common maybe you'll just have to ignore them, sucks I know.

Hopefully you can at least get past that mission with the smoke/fog turned off.
