this didnt work neither.. :(
i uninstalled the whole game and installed it again..
did exactly the 2 things above and even asked a official support but never received any word from the devs.
The left thumbstick works and RT button also works in game the green A button only works in menu but not in game. Also the menu setup is in a keyboard and mouse configuration instead of a gamepad configuration.
I bought a whole new Xbox360 wired gamepad for Windows which doesnt seem to work in this game ( tested in all other games and there it works ).
Please more help google didnt gave me any solutions either.
I've played B:AK with xbox 360 wired gamepad and also with xbox one wireless, so there must be something in your system that prevents it.
i have 0 emulators
So you mean i go into the game and then unplug the mouse ?
edit: i unplugged the moude and keyboard while in game but it didnt change anything.
A year ago when i played this game i never had this issue...
In Big Picture Mode ?
and for future references people cantry this too!
" OK, so I will start out with the fact that I have Windows 8.1. For me, I right click the start menu icon from the desktop and click on device manager. Under my computer's name, I click the drop-down arrow next to "Human Interfacew Devices". There is a whole mess of these for me. With no other controllers connected, there should be only one called "HID-compliant game controller", and you just disable that (either click on the name and hit the "disable" icon in the toolbar up top or right-click on it and do the same. It is amazing how something this small could be the issue.
Just to make sure, you should also have as one of the listings under your computer name something called Xbox 360 Peripherals, and in that should be your 360 controller, called "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows".
Thanks TROOPER181st!! 3 years later, and this fixed my problem in Windows 10. It was so random and frustrating. It must have been a Windows update that broke it.
