Allegedly, windows is a hassle. With linux I never had problems
THE LAST PATCH CAME OUT LAST YEAR. THERE ARE NO MORE PATCHES. Use DISM commands to fix your windows installation. Reinstall DirectX. Get off your high horse and google what you need. This game has caused multiple issues with directX. Search the forums. Don't cry to us that you are not in development, neither are we. We figured out on our own.
That's not what it's saying. show us the the output. You're likely talking about an engine crash dump. the whole "filename not found" is normal and just means that the needed debugging symbols aren't present. it DOES NOT, repeat DOES NOT mean that there are files missing!
That said, ntdll.dll is the OS kernel function library file. an error in this file means something's going awry within Ring 0 where the OS kernel lives. Most likely either a driver problem, or unsupported hardware .
Why do you think some magical patch is going to fix a software problem with your computer?
Calm down. If you're going to rant and rave we're not going to help you.
Then go back to Linux and shut up. See how well BAK runs then.
Oh....wait........
Again, SHOW US THE FREAKING ERROR MESSAGE!!
