Default skin important to the story?

This is my first playthrough but I think the Batman Beyond skin looks way cooler. So I'm planning to play the whole game with this skin. Problem is, will this affect the storyline such as Batman's face or default skin? Will I be missing out on anything if I decide to play the whole game using the Batman Beyond skin?

Any help would be great! ^_^

It won't affect the storyline. but unlike previous arkham games when you choose a different skin when cutscenes occurs the default skin will always be seen. Arkham Knight is whatever batsuit you wear you can see it even on cutscenes and will affect bruce face.


*Pick the Dark Knight Trilogy suit and its so fight and kinda awkward looking for the model..

Hey thanks for the reply. Yeah in Arkham Knight, you see your skins in the cutscene. And thats what I'm worried about. Is Bruce's face in the default skin important to the storyline and cutscenes? Does the default skin change or play an important role in cutscenes especially futher into the game? Cuz I plan to play the Batman Beyond skin the whole game. I know its a wierd questions. Just curious.

I'm not finished with the game but at ~109% with dlc. So far, the only story-related changes to the default skin are some bullet holes. All the skins I've used react really well when the mask is taken off; in the few occasions when this happens the skins don't affect the story.

Skins are not important in the story and it won't affect anything its just for visual purposes...



*Spoilers the 1st suit you have in game is the more advance batsuit from arkham city...so if you've played the previous games its still the same...

then early on the game you'll change you're suit to the new batsuit you always saw in the trailers
and it will change some aspects of gameplay like you can glide much faster,higher and longer while you can eject from the batmobile and you can use the new fear takedown also your're grappling gun will be stronger... and as I've said before any new suits you use will be the same...

But if you're still on the part where bruce hasn't change his suit then you'll play the same as the previous games unless its new game plus....


*I'm not so sure if you can use the other skins immediately for you're 1st playthrough....
and lastly you won't be missing out of any content or anything its just for visual purposes...
